Roof Leak Repair
A stain on the ceiling rarely sits under the leak. We trace the water back to where it enters and fix the cause, not just the symptom.
Water travels along rafters and decking before it shows up inside, so a leak above the hallway can start at a vent pipe, a valley or a piece of flashing several feet away. We get up on the roof, and into the attic when we can, to find the real entry point.
Most leaks come down to a handful of failures: cracked pipe boots, lifted or missing shingles, worn flashing at walls and chimneys, or a skylight seal that’s given up. Once we know which one it is, the repair is usually straightforward.
