Roof Deck & Plywood Repair
If the roof feels spongy underfoot, the plywood underneath has been taking on water. New shingles on rotted decking won’t last, so we replace the wood first.
Long-term leaks soak the sheathing until it softens, delaminates and rots. Shingles can’t be fastened securely to it, and in bad cases it can sag between rafters.
We remove the shingles over the damaged area, cut out the bad sheathing back to sound wood, install new plywood, and rebuild the roof layers on top.
