Torch-Down Roofing
Torch-down (modified bitumen) roofing is laid in overlapping rolls that are heat-fused together into a thick, tough surface, common on city row houses.
Torch-down handles foot traffic well and is a familiar choice for row houses and small commercial buildings. Its seams are fused with heat, and a granulated cap sheet protects it from the sun.
Because it uses an open flame, it needs an experienced crew and careful work around walls and penetrations.
